How to Make Mummy Halloween Brownies
You’re going to love how easy it is to make these fun Halloween brownies. First, if needed, make the homemade brownies and using a sharp knife slice them into 12 individual squares.
Place the brownies on a flat surface. A baking sheet or plate is a great choice.
If you’re using a white icing decorating bag, skip this step. If you’re using a container of icing, spoon it carefully into a plastic storage bag or piping bag using a rubber spatula or spoon. Cut or poke a small hole in the corner of the icing bag. The larger the hole, the thicker the mummy stripes will be.
Using a zigzag pattern, pipe the icing over the top of each brownie to create the look of a mummy. Add two candy eyes to complete the look!
Let the brownies set for about 20 minutes for the icing to harden and enjoy. You can also pop them into the fridge to speed this up.
Store leftover brownies in an airtight container for up to 4 days, and enjoy this fun recipe whenever you’re craving some Halloween treats over the next few days.
Tips for the Best Mummy Brownies
Use whatever kind of white icing flavor you like! These Halloween brownies taste great with cream cheese frosting or vanilla icing.
Don’t like icing, or prefer to make these super chocolatey? Consider using melted chocolate instead of icing! White chocolate melts can easily be substituted for the icing.
You can also use any type of brownies for this mummy brownies recipe, or substitute cookies.
When it comes to piping the mummy wrapping, start with a small hole first and practice on a plate to see if you like the thickness.
